‘Gruha Himsa’ Case Against Yuvraj Singh

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s sister-in-law Akanksha Sharma has filed a domestic violence (Gruha Himsa)case against him and his family members. She allegedly accused her in-laws of causing her mental and financial torture.

In her complaint, Akanksha accused her mother-in-law and husband of pressuring her to conceive, and also subjecting her to mental and financial torture. Including Yuvraj’s name in her compliant, she allegedly accused him of taking the side of his family members.

According to reports, Gurugram Police have booked Akanksha’s husband Zoravar Singh, mother-in-law Shabnam and brother-in-law Yuvraj Singh in the case. And, a notice has been sent to Yuvraj Singh’s family in this regard. The case will come for hearing on October 21, say reports.
