Making cheap comments on Southern film industry has become a fashion or shall we say, an easy way to make it to headlines for Bollywood celebs. In the recent times, we have seen the likes of Radhika Apte, Taapsee and a few others commenting on South directors and actors. Afresh, Hindi Bigg Boss contestant Hina Khan has made some controversial comments on south heroines.
Hina Khan is a popular Indian television actress who has become one of the top contenders in Bigg Boss 11 thanks to the fake melodrama and controversies she creates in the house. It can’t be said whether she was instructed by the organizers or it was a voluntary act, she nonetheless commented that heroines who work in south films are asked to put on weight as cine goers there like chubby heroines. She added that heroines are asked to bulge up and gyrate in sarees.
The popular TV actress further said that she was offered two big films from South but she rejected both of them owing to the aforementioned apprehensions about working in South films. She hinted that one of the two rejected films is SVSC by divulging that it starred Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh.
Hina’s comments have not gone well with Southern film fraternity. From fans to celebs, including Hansika have rebuked Khan for her demeaning comments.
