Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu is a senior-most leader in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet and a close confidante of him. Be it in the party or government, Yanamala is playing a crucial role right now.
The latest we hear is that plans are afoot to send Yanamala to Rajya Sabha very soon. And talk is that one of Yanamala’s two daughters would foray into electoral politics.
While Yanamala is key and very senior-most hand in the government and there is no proper substitute for him in the cabinet, it needs to be seen whether Chandrababu would agree to send Yanamala to Rajya Sabha or not.
On other hand, Yanamala has been seeking to move to Rajya Sabha from a long time. Let’s wait and see.
