Pakistani jailed for writing ‘Zindabad Hindustan’

A resident of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was taken into police custody and booked for treason (a case that’s registered for betraying one’s own country). Why? Read on…

A Pakistani youngster named Sajid Shah has reportedly inscribed the slogan ‘Zindabad Hindustan’ on the compound wall of his home and that has apparently triggered a fury in his area. Every other guy who passed by his residence took a snap of it and emailed to police officials to book him for ‘treason’.

The police officials, who have taken Sajid into custody, have asked him to erase it off as it would hurt the nationalism of Pakistanis. But, he didn’t brush it off. As a result, Sajid was put behind the bars.

The enmity between Hindustan (India) and Pakistan is known to the entire world and the diplomacy between two countries is only confined to global meetings. Many a times, Pakistan has voiced its friendly hand for India, but it stands untrue it on the ground.
