Like all other North hotties out there, Punjabi siren Rakul Preet Kaur who has proved her mettle in Telugu industry and became star heroine here is occasionally trying her luck in Bollywood too. Here comes her next outing in Hindi arena after debut film Yaariyan in 2014.
Though the teaser of “Aiyaary” has come out long back, at that time fans of this hot actress felt disappointed for not able to see her in more than a couple of frames. The trailer for the film is no different now. Featuring Siddharth Malhotra as that intelligent military Major who escaped from the clutch of the army to pursue something unknown, the film has Rakul appearing as his girlfriend.
Apparently, the trailer focuses more Siddharth and his counterpart Manoj Bajpayee, while glimpses of Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah actually add more to the story. However, disappointing thing is that Rakul appears just for a second, blink you miss types, inside the trailer.
Once she’s walking alongside Siddarth, other time she actually gets kissed on the forehead by the hero. That’s it. Seems like only a minuscule role for Rakul inside the movie, unlike South films where she fills whole screen with her glamour.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey of Special 26, A Wednesday and Baby movie fame, Aiyaary is hitting cinemas on January 26th.
