Box office success is undoubtedly the biggest parameter to gauge a hero’s stardom. In this context, Salman Khan is inarguably the country’s biggest star hero. The box office behemoth has just delivered another film that joined the 300 Cr club and created numerous records.
Released on December 22, 2017, Salman’s latest film, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has comfortably entered the 300 Cr club. This is his third film in the club, the most by any hero. Aamir’s “Dangal” and “PK”, and the mammoth Baahubali 2 are the only other three films till date that crossed 300 Cr nett. mark in India. Furthermore, Salman has delivered a 300 Cr film in three successive years – Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), an almost impossible feat to repeat for any of his competitors.
The Salman-starrer however trails miles behind Baahubali 2, which is the only film to collect more than 500 Cr nett. (only Hindi version) at domestic box office.
