Every time when there is search for heroine in either Mahesh Babu or Pawan Kalyan’s film we get to hear that Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is in race for it. We have heard Deepika’s name for 1 and Gabbar Singh 2. But as per Deepika, no one from Telugu film industry has approached her.
“Why would I not sign a Telugu film if they give me offers?” Deepika asked our media people when they questioned her about rejecting offers with Pawan and Mahesh. So Deepika rejecting those films is just a rumor and she is very much ready to take up Telugu project. But our producers may not be able to afford her as she is the reigning queen of Bollywood now.
With so many blockbusters up her sleeve, Deepika Padukone’s paycheck has raised like never before. She will charge anything above Rs. 6 crore for a Telugu film now and that amount for a heroine is completely ruled out considering the business range of our movies. Well, Deepika should cut down her salary by half if she is really willing to star in a Telugu film.
