Sridevi Was Murdered: Subramanian Swamy

Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, who is known for his explosive and sensational statements, has now raised doubts over the circumstances under which Sridevi died on Saturday night in Dubai. He allegedly said that she could have been ‘murdered’.

Saying that Sridevi was very health conscious and that she never touched hard liquor, Swamy questioned, how did alcohol enter her body then? ‘Someone must have force fed it to her,’ he said.

Another doubt Swamy raised was that its very difficult and unlikely to drown in bathtub unless someone forcibly pushed a person inside. ‘Its murder, isn’t it,?’ he reportedly claimed.

The Rajya Sabha MP further said that the emerging reports in media about her death didn’t appear to be consistent. ‘If the death had happened in India, I would have used all my sources and uncovered the truth like in the case of Sunanda Pushkar’s murder,’ Swamy said.

He demanded for the reexamination to find out the exact cause of death and proper investigation into the ‘murder’ case.

Meanwhile, the authorities in Dubai have categorically denied all reports of foul play in Sridevi’s death.
