It is a disaster of epic proportions. A flop cannot be worse than this. It is like as if Sai Dharam Tej and team Intelligent tried their best to take the ‘flop of the year’ tag from Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavasi.
Intelligent collected a distributor share of Rs. 3.3 crore in Telugu states in its total theatrical run.
This share is less than or equal to Sai Dharam Tej’s first day collections in Telugu states. And this film was not directed by someone unknown. It was directed by none other than VV Vinayak a brand that sells like hot cake in B and C centers.
But Intelligent turned out to be a nightmare, a box office catastrophe by collecting Rs. 3.6 crore share worldwide.
The film’s theatricals are valued at Rs. 27 crore and it couldn’t even recover fifteen percent of it. It is one of the biggest flops ever among notable films.
SDT and Vinayak’s market is sure to take severe beating after this colossal failure. They will need something very special in their upcoming films to get over this.
