With ‘Kirrak Party’, actor Nikhil Siddhartha has pulled off another youthful story and as we look at Friday’s estimates, the film had a decent day-1 opening. After a disappointment (Keshava), Nikhil selectively chose to remake the super hit Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’ and it turns out to be the biggest opener in his career. In US, the film is very well feeding the money machines and audiences are enjoying this college-story.

When it comes to Telugu states, Nikhil’s previous best ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ collected a share of Rs 1.25 Crores and gross of Rs 2.1 Crores on first day. Now, Kirrak Party managed to exceed it comfortably with a share of 1.70 Crore and gross of 3.2 Crores.
The worldwide gross is estimated to be around 4.7 crores. At this time, the makers are anticipating a good jump in collections from second day and should meet the expectations as there are no big-ticket films in the race.
