Even as KCR’s attempts to form a secular non-Congress and non-BJP’s Federal Front are moving at a slow pace and is drawing lukewarm response, KCR’s positioning of anti-BJP or anti-Modi is raising several doubts, speculations.
Adding fuel to more such speculations, KCR’s phone call to BJP president Amit Shah soon after the Alipiri incident is shocking even many BJP leaders from Telangana and AP. Even before AP BJP leaders responded on it, KCR spoke to the BJP chief to soothe him is raising several eyeballs. Many, including BJP netas, are praising KCR’s art of political doublespeak.
It is rumoured that KCR has been pushing the agenda of BJP via Federal Front and at the same time, allegedly maintaining a secret understanding with BJP. Earlier, KCR had heaped praises on Modi during the ban of high-denominated notes Rs 500 and Rs 1000 during demonetisation. KCR had also welcomed GST and Telangana assembly is one of the first states to pass the State GST Bill.
It may also be recalled that when TDP had moved no-confidence motion against BJP, TRS MPs had gone into well and staged protest over reservation quota thus stalled the house and indirectly helped Modi. Even in Presidential polls, TRS had supported BJP’s candidate Ram Nath Kovind. Later, KCR even fumed over Modi and Centre over farmers.
Many political analysts are expressing shock over KCR’s enigmatic acts and his doublespeak.
