Tension In TRS MLAs As Deadline Approaches!

Ever since Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao hinted at early elections to the state assembly and announced that he would release the list of candidates, tension has gripped several TRS MLAs across the state.Notwithstanding the assurance given by KCR that he would give tickets to all those who had won on the TRS tickets last time, many of them are apprehensive that KCR might drop them on pretext or the other.

And in other constituencies, where the TRS had lost and but the opposition party MLAs had joined the TRS later, too, there is no guarantee that all of them would be accommodated.Apparently, KCR is understood to have put a test to them to prove their loyalty to the party. He reportedly set them targets for mobilisation of crowds at their own expenses for the massive public meeting to be held on September 2 on Hyderabad outskirts, most probably at Kongara Kalan adjacent to Nagarjunasgar highway.

As a result, the MLAs and other ticket aspirants have started mobilising money to make arrangements for the public meeting. But, they are not sure about their getting tickets even after spending crores of rupees on the public meeting. They have to make contributions to the party fund if they have to apply for the ticket.Adding to this, there is an intelligence survey about the performance of the MLAs. It is learnt KCR has obtained the survey report on the winnable prospects of the MLAs and the strengths of the opposition candidates.

If KCR feels the MLA of a constituency has least chances of winning the seat, he will not hesitate to drop him irrespective of his financial strength and popularity. It is learnt KCR has ordered a final survey in the first week of September and that would be the basis for him to decide the fate of candidates.

Till then, suspense continues to haunt the MLAs!
