Nayini Narsimha Reddy, the first home minister of Telangana state, is one of the senior leaders in TRS party. His long association with party and its chief KCR is known to everyone. After joining the party, Nayini won as an MLA from Musheerabad assembly segment and in 2014, he’s elected as MLC and became first Home Minister of newly formed state.
But now, the party president KCR hasn’t paid any heed to veteran’s request. Nayini Narsimha was expecting the Musheerabad assembly ticket for his son-in-law Srinivas Reddy, but the final list of candidates declared by party on Sunday gave a shock to the senior. TRS declared the ticket to the senior party leader Mutha Gopal, who has got a strong cadre, good vote bank in constituency.
This assembly segment, which has BJP president Laxman as sitting MLA, has been kept on hold by TRS party and finally declared to Gopal. KCR has always said in public meetings that Nayini has been with him right from the initial days of TRS and has given his high priority. But, ignoring the ticket to his camp is something that may not go down well with his supporters in that segment. To project that everything is fine between both the leaders, the party has decided to make Nayini give the B form to Mutha Gopal at party meeting on Monday.
On other hand, TRS party offered Kodad ticket to the TDP rebel leader Bollam Mallaiah Yadav who joined TRS on Friday. Given the fact that TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy’s wife Padmavati Reddy is fighting from Kodad, the battle to win this constituency is going to quite interesting to watch out for.
