Undoubtedly we are missing those love stories on the silver screen, that squeeze our hearts a big time. And then, there are love stories mixed with pure commercial elements. But then, who will give us a balance of such like a Maniratnam?
We can’t exactly say that this is Mani sir range love story, but surely ‘Padi Padi Lechenu Manasu’ is going to trigger a myriad of emotions due to some finest performances if we have to go by the trailer.
Featuring Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand in the lead roles, Padi Padi Lechenu Manasu has this wonderful breakup story as a theme with simplest expressions triggering lots of meanings. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has impressed with the trailer as usual, and the film’s Kolkata backdrop is just amazing. While Sai Pallavi steals hearts as that medico student (who is for real as well), Sharwa delivers a knock with his semi-rogue kinds of looks. You will fall for these two actors!!
And those one-liners, ‘Ela vestava ra inni dosalu? – Aakali ra bhai’, and ‘Madam, padaremo anukokandi, elagaina padesta’, are funny and catchy too. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s lovely background score and Jay Kay’s colorful visuals are in sync with the story’s theme, taking the experience to an emotional level.
Hope Hanu Raghavapudi is not going to disappoint inside the theatres, after impressing with the trailer.
