Seizure of Guest House : Prabhas Moves High Court

Taking severe objection to the act of Serlingampally revenue officials who seized his guest house at Raidurg in Rangareddy over a land dispute, actor Prabhas has approached High Court. Prabhas has moved the High Court against the move by revenue officials and complained that his guest house has been seized without prior notice or information. The complaint said he has not received any notices from the officials.

It is learnt that the revenue officials have pasted the notice to the main gate of Prabhas’ guest house as no one was available at the time of seizure and the guest house has been seized accordingly. Notice boards have been placed at the site indicating that the land belongs to government.

Going into details, several houses and properties in the area have been seized by the revenue officials following court’s order. Serlingampally Tahsildar has been ordered to remove the illegal constructions in the Raidurg area in the survey No. 46. 84 Acres and 30 Guntas land is in dispute from longtime and court recently given orders in favour of petitioners Mala Ramulu, Neerudu Lakshmaiah and Siva Ramakrishna who claim to own some area of land in survey No. 46.

Receiving the court orders, Serlingampally Tahsildar and his team had acted against all the properties, houses in the contentious land. Several locals have raised the objection and threatened to move the court.
