After two straight blockbusters – Simha and Legend – Balakrishna is all set to join forces with director Boyapati Srinu for an out and out action family entertainer. The film will have its muhurtham ceremony in the Maaghamasam season this month. Balayya will be bankrolling the project under his newly launched banner, NBK Films.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz in the T-town circles is that Kannada beauty Shraddha Srinath is in talks for the leading lady’s role in the Balayya-Boyapati film. An official word is expected to be out in a couple of weeks time. Both in Legend and Simha, Boyapati had cast multiple heroines. Whether Shraddha Srinath will get to play the solo female lead or share screen space with other heroines opposite Balayya remains to be seen.
Shraddha became popular among Telugu audiences for her brief cameo in Mani Ratnam’s Cheliyaa. She will soon be seen as Nani’s love Interest in Jersey. The Sandalwood actress also has a Telugu film which is being produced by Rana Daggubati. Recently, she was chosen as one of the female leads in Ajith-starrer Pink’s Tamil remake.
