#Corona: Masks prices soar in Hyderabad

On Wednesday, the happening place in Hyderabad, Hi-Tech city was hit by Corona virus. A software engineer got infected by Corona which resulted in shut down of building number 20 in Raheja Mindspace. This news spread fast across the city and people are who are working in Mindspace, are now reaching out Gandhi hospital for tests and medical shops for masks.

However the pharmacies are cashing this opportunity. A mask which usually costs Rs 2 to Rs 5, is being sold at Rs 20 and more by pharmacies. In areas like Filmnagar and Jubilee Hills, many pharmacies have kept no stock boards and showing shortage issues deliberately.

This is just ridiculous and pathetic by pharmacies to take advantage of an epidemic and seriously putting lives at stake over money.

Even though the media is reporting about this, the government is yet to take an action against this. Hope the government warns the pharmacies and sell masks are reasonable prices.
