Jagan Gives 50 pc RS Seats To BCs

In a swift move, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy proved his love for the BCs by giving 50 per cent seats to them in the on-going Rajya Sabha elections.

By nominating two BC leaders for Rajya Sabha, he made several steps forward to win the BC voters in the midst of the local body elections.

Jagan Mohan Reddy had proved two things in his one single move. He proved himself as a man of work and not just words.

He is converting every promise into a reality and giving highest priority to the weaker sections and women is one such promise, which he is fulfilling.

While the opposition TDP stands too far away from converting its promises into reality, Jagan Mohan Reddy is winning the people by giving them due share in nominated posts and other issues fulfilling one by one.

The nomination of BC Ministers Pilli Subhashchandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkata Ramana to Rajya Sabha gives him an edge over his rival TDP in terms of giving priority to the BCs.

Jagan Mohan Reddy had already promised that his party would field 34 per cent BCs in the local body elections, though the court had stuck down the reservations officially.

These initiatives keep Jagan Mohan Reddy close to the people and away from the rivals, in terms of politics.

The chief minister had nominated industrialist and the party senior leader Alla Ayodhyarami Reddy to the Rajya Sabha.

The fourth seat was given to Reliance Industries man, Pariman Nathwani, who is instrumental in providing infrastructure in Jharkhand during his last two terms as Rajya Sabha member.

He is also important or rather key person in constructing world’s largest stadium at Motera in Gujarat where US President Donald Trump addressed Indians during his recent visit.

Nathwani constructed this stadium as vice-president of Gujarat Cricket Association. He is expected to bring some major investments to the state during his stint as Rajya Sabha member for next six years.

Ayodhyarami Reddy, too is an industrialist is also one of the leading industrialists from the State who heads Ramky Group and is expected to lobby with the Central government in mobilizing investments to the state as Rajya Sabha member.
