Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is known to be quite aggressive with the things he takes seriously. This approach was displayed when his father YSR was the Chief Minister.
But as he had become the CM, he is also showing the calmer side like his father did. But with the kind of violence that is happening in the Sate with regards to the Local Body Elections, his own party’s Ministers are feeling suffocated.
Since Jagan had taken these elections very personally, he has set targets for all the Ministers and other leaders. He had said that if they do not perform well and loses the seats in their local constituencies, they will be losing their positions.
Due to this pressure, YCP leaders are even getting to violence in multiple areas. Therefore, Chandra Babu Naidu has written a letter to DGP Sawang to control these attacks.
Earlier these factional attacks were only limited to small villages where they would feel that their opposition contestant is more powerful than them or someone having old rivalry.
But now this violence had come to even towns and cities as well. Now, even the opposition is not allowed to put their nominations. They say that it is all because of the pressure put on these leaders by Jagan.
