Telangana: 24-yr-old student tested positive for Corona

Amid high tensions in Telangana due to the novel coronavirus outbreak a 24-year-old student from Kothagudem has been admitted to Gandhi Hospital on March 11 and tested positive for Covid-19 today. On March 7, the student returned to India, who was pursuing higher studies in Italy. Not to mention, Italy is now in worse condition with more than1400 corona deaths and 21,000 infected cases.

Not only 24-year-old student, but even two other cases in the Gandhi hospital were said to be on borderline Covid-19 and God forbid, may soon be tested positive.  So far, Telangana has two positive Covid-19 cases with Italy returned student and a software employee with a travel history to Dubai. Fortunately, the techie has been completely recovered and was discharged on Friday.

Talking about the student from Italy, the individual who landed at RGIA went directly to her hometown, Kothagudem. On March 9, she was admitted to a private hospital in Manuguru after developing a cold and fever. With the severity, she was admitted to Gandhi Hospital on March 11 under local District Surveillance Officer Dr Srinu Naik’s guidance.
