New Delhi: Amid a nationwide lockdown to tackle the coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared a video message with people.
On Thursday, the Prime Minister held a meeting with the chief ministers through video conferencing on the coronavirus outbreak. He had also thanked the states for backing the decision of imposing nationwide lockdown because of which India has achieved some success in limiting the spread of coronavirus.
The PM had addressed the nation twice last month — on March 19 and March 24.
On March 19, PM Modi, besides seeking resolve and restraint to battle coronavirus, had announced a ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22.
On March 24, he had announced the 21-day nationwide lockdown to check the COVID-19 spread.
