Andhra Pradesh Government introduced several schemes last year and the ruling party is currently struggling with financial crunch. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan publicly asked Central Government for financial help and Narendra Modi personally called YS Jagan to have a discussion on the funds.
It seems that YS Jagan asked Central Government to clear the dues which account to 5200 Crores. Polavaram project related funds, 14th Financial Commission recommended funds, GST related compensation and the funds for backward regions of Rayalaseema/Coastal Andhra Pradesh comes to around 5200 Crores. YS Jagan asked Narendra Modi to clear these dues and the Prime Minister is said to have responded positively to the request.
Meanwhile, the funds released by the Central Government for the poor people has been distributed in Andhra Pradesh through the Volunteers YSRC Government hired few months back. AP Government is using ESMA rule to make sure all the necessary services are available to the common people.
