The after-effects of the lockdown and corona crisis are aplenty. As we reported in these columns earlier, several stars will find it tough to adjust their dates once the shootings resume especially those who act in multiple films and multi-languages.
The latest buzz in the industry is that Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s recently launched “Pushpa” is already facing casting issues.
Sukumar’s original choice for the antagonist was the versatile Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi who is also playing a similar role in “Uppena” and Tamil biggie “Master”.
But now with the delay in production and lockdown crisis, he reportedly informed Sukumar he cannot adjust dates for this project anymore.
Vijay Sethupathi’s priority is to give dates to his Tamil films which will begin once the lockdown restrictions are eased. He has already informed that he would take up “Pushpa”. Sukumar is said to be still convincing him to stay.
We have to wait how things move further.
