With the Centre permitting for inter-state transport, Andhra people residing in Hyderabad have started to their respective places. As a result the roads leading towards Vijayawada witnessed huge rush of vehicles. However, the AP Police are stopping the people and are checking whether the travelers have passes.
Post checking the passes, the police are putting a stamp on people’s fist of quarantine and are asking them to stick to their homes for 14 days. This has caused the traffic to pile up at the Andhra-Telangana border. Yet the police are not allowing people who have not permission. AP DGP Gautham Sawang clarified that only those people with passes will be allowed to enter Andhra Pradesh.
For the passes, people need to visit Spandana portal and apply for entry. DGP Sawang further said until the AP government takes a decision on inter-state vehicle moment, people need to apply for the entry of passes.
