Amaravati is nothing but an abandoned city to the AP people at the moment. This is all because of Jagan’s three capital proposal that reduced the importance of Amaravati in the AP map. No construction works happened in Amaravati in the last year and the contractors recently started to export the sand to cover up the losses.
Now, all of a sudden, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review on the Amaravati construction works. It is being said that, most surprisingly, he ordered the officials to complete all the constructions which have completed 70% out of their entire work. This statement coming out from Jagan’s mouth is such a big deal for the AP people.
Since Jagan became CM, he has been saying one word about Amaravati and that is ‘Corruption’. Now, it is a bit of relief for the state’s economy that CM himself conducted a review meeting on Amaravati construction works. If those buildings which have completed already 70% get ready, MLAs and Sachivalayam employees will get quarters and along with that, the government will have all the resources available for proper administration.
This is definitely a mystery to hear that Jagan suddenly changed his stand on Amaravati who was very firm to dismantle all the work done by Chandra Babu at one point of time. So, the question is, what made him change in mind? Is the state economy not viable to construct a whole new capital? We will leave all these questions for you.
