Mr.KTR Birthday celebrations are done but no ambulances for poor

Politics cannot be stooped much lower than this. In this critical COVID pandemic, do the people have to wait for a leader’s birthday to get proper emergency services. Is Ambulance a necessity or a gift for the poor people from the leaders? From who’s pocket are they funding for those ambulances? These are a few of the many statements that are uttered by the Telangana people as well as some senior leaders on the eve of KTR’s birthday.

Right from the beginning of the TRS rule in Telangana, there have been strong allegations of the monarchial or hierarchal rule which the Telangana government sidetracked several times by diverting people into other issues. But, now, the Telangana governed waited for KTR’s birthday to announce that they are going to arrange few ambulances for the state people in this COVID period. Even after many hours of the announcement, there has been no significant development in the arrangement of ambulances.

KTR said that he is personally arranging 6 ambulances and then, Health Minister Etela Rajender said that taking inspiration from KCR, on his birthday, he will arrange 5 ambulances in his own Karimnagar District. On this occasion, KTR requested all the people’s representatives to do the same. Yet, no ambulance has been arranged in any of the announced areas. So, it may be a gift or an exclusive service for Telangana people.

The point is, why KCR or Eetela need to wait for KTR’s birthday to provide emergency services for the people who have been suffering for months without their presence? If there is a need for an additional 5-10 ambulances (which is obviously there) in each district, why the TRS government hasn’t started to arrange those services to the people yet. Do they need another leader’s birthday to provide those vehicles or the demolition of the secretariat is the most important thing to spend funds on rather than saving the lives of people? These are the questions that arose from a Telanganaite out of confusion.
