The shootings of some big films have begun in Bollywood as well as in all neighbouring film industries but Telugu folks haven’t moved their leg out to kickstart the shooting. This is because of two projects taking a temporary break due to the onset of Covid-19 as a couple of teammates turned positive for the virus.
A couple of weeks ago, shooting of Sushmita Konidela’s debut production venture, Shootout At Alair, which happens to be a web series for Zee5, got stalled after one of the co-directors tested positive for Covid-19. Same is the case with a couple of other projects like Adivi Sesh’s Major, we hear. And that has alerted all big heroes, who have decided to not go for shooting until vaccine comes out.
However, taking the risk, Krish Jagarlamudi started the shooting of his next project with Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet in Vikarabad already, while Sampath Nandi presented Black Rose web series shooting is going on in Hyderabad from sometime in which heroine Urvashi Rautela is also taking part. Though Teja is hit by the coronavirus, he continued shoots of his web films through his associates. And he is doing it still.
If these three projects come out without facing any risk from Covid-19 as they are said to be taking all the needed precautions, then other production houses might also join the shooting bandwagon. Else, if Covid-19 strikes, then industry might not go for shootings of any kind in the near sight.
