Chandrababu’s yet another blazing letter to Andhra Pradesh DGP

Former Chief Minister and current opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh, and the Chief of Telugu Desam Party, Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s experience in politics is one thing that is not up for debates. This veteran has been at the helm of many major decisions and has witnessed great developments of the Telugu states and of the country as well.

Keeping aside Naidu’s political journey, it is a fact that all politicians keep criticising someone or the other every now and then, and it is their duty as such. No one has ever tried to stop these criticisms, or taken any action against just words. However, the picture looks slightly different now, with the YSRCP government doing everything it can to suppress any sort of criticism at all – constructive or destructive. And in this effort, the Andhra Pradesh police department is very much helping the government, or so it seems.

The AP Police have asked Naidu to not pass any comments on any issue unless and until he has proof he can submit to the Police department. The DGP of AP Police has also written a letter to Naidu, stating the same. This comes as a surprise, given that no one has ever asked anyone to do such sort of a thing in the past. Reacting to this, Naidu has written yet another letter to the DGP of Andhra Pradesh.

In his letter, Naidu stated that there’s no proper peace in the state, and that neither the government nor the Police are the least bit bothered about it. Naidu also said that the Police department is acting like a pet of the government’s, trying to suppress anyone who dares to oppose Jagan’s rule or decisions. Naidu even questioned why the Rule of Law was not implemented till now, despite the High Court giving repeated warnings to put it into effect as soon as possible. He also stated that the Andhra Pradesh Police department is the only Police department in the entire country which has a number of cases filed against the appalling behavior of its own personnel.

Naidu’s blazing letter to the DGP has now become the hot topic for all political leaders, who are reportedly agreeing on every aspect that the opposition leader has pointed out in his letter.
