Andhra Pradesh BJP has been very aggressive with its ongoings in the party since Somu Veerraju was elected as the new BJP president. His stern warning regarding the anti-BJP stand is highly appreciable by the party cadre as they have been fed up with the differential stand of their own leaders.
There are some MPs who shifted their base to BJP from TDP and are given utmost importance. Of course, they were too active during Kanna Lakshmi Narayana’s reign but after Somu took the leadership, except one or two, many leaders have been quiet. Veerraju, even though being aware of this silence has been very happy with the outcome of his stern voice.
Initially, there was some slightest uproar within the party when he suspended some BJP leaders who took the TDP stand but center backing Somu Veerraju is such a boost for the people who have been loyal to the party for years without any defectors and prioritised stands.
On the other side, the alliance with Janasena revoked the trust of the Saffron party in the people. Veerraju on the counterpart is giving clear instructions to his leaders unlike Kanna. Somu Veerraju made it clear that the Central government has nothing to do with the capital issue. He said the party leaders should not be seen as supportive of the TDP on the issue.
So, whatever the agenda of the BJP is at the moment, it is loud and clear unlike the past and they did stick with it together which is very important for any political party.
