The saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has begun focusing on the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections 2021. To set up a tone for the polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah started a two-day West Bengal visit the other day.
On Saturday, BJP conducted a mega rally at the Paschim Medinipur’s region in West Bengal. Amit Shah participated at the rally and made sensation comments on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
Amit Shah said, because of the misrule and corruption in the party, leaders are leaving Trinamool Congress and said by the election time, except Mamata Banerjee, no one will stay in the party.
During the rally held on Saturday, nine legislators from various, rebel TMC leaders Suvendu Adhikari and Trinamool MP Sunil Mondal have joined the BJP party in the presence of Amit Shah.
Referring to the leaders leaving the Trinamool Congress party, Amit Shah said this is the beginning of growing discontent among the leaders over Abhishek Banerjee, Mamata’s nephew giving more importance in the party.
