The Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum‘ has been in the news for a long time now. There were several speculations about the lead roles in the remake.
Now, putting an end to all speculations, the production house Sithara Entertainment has revealed the names of two powerhouses, who came on board to star in the film.
Power star Pawan Kalyan and Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati will be sharing the screen space in the remake, making it one of the highly anticipated multi-starrers of Tollywood. The duo will reprise roles played by Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the original.
Director Sagar Chandra, who previously directed Appatlo Okadundevadu, will be helming this massive project.
Music director Thaman S will be composing the tunes. Presented by PDV Prasad, the project will be backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sitara Entertainments.
If the reports are believed, Pawan Kalyan is likely to play the role of Biju Menon and Rana will step into the shoes Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character.
The makers are in talks with two actresses for female leads, and more details are awaited.
