There is a growing acceptance among TRS Ministers and MLAs that KT Rama Rao, son of CM KCR, is a capable leader to work as Chief Minister of Telangana.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav recently expressed the same opinion and asked the reporters that, ‘What was wrong if KTR was made Chief Minister?’
Bodhan MLA Shakeel Aamir Mohammed said that the young MLAs in the TRS party are in favour of making KTR the next Chief Minister. He appealed to the ruling party supremo and CM KCR to provide an opportunity to the latter’s son to work as CM of the state. The MLA also wished that the next Assembly session should be held under the administration of KTR.
Not just Shakeel Aamir Mohammed, other leaders in the party like MLA Bajireddy Govardhan Reddy, MLA DS Redya Naik, Health Minister E Rajender and Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy too spoke on similar lines.
The proactive role being played by KT Rama Rao as IT and Municipal Administration Minister in the government has triggered speculation that he may take over the throne from his father soon.
