Police have identified Venkata Murali Krishna, a priest who complained that the idol of the god that was destroyed was the culprit.
Police said that the priest was beheaded for money. The accused was arrested on the 31st of January. It was confirmed that the contract was for 30 thousand.
According to the evidence available so far, Malla Venkataraju (husband of 42nd Division ex-corporator) and Danthuluri Venkatapathi Raju (former TNTUC organizing secretary) have been arrested along with Venkata Murali in this case.
