Sonu Sood To Star In Police Officer Umesh Chandra Biopic


Actor Sonu Sood, who made the headlines for his unmatched humanitarian deeds during the lockdown, is getting a bunch of films offers lately. After his craze went across the globe, filmmakers from Hindi and Telugu are evincing interest to rope him to their projects.

As per the inside reports, Sonu Sood is going to star in Umesh Chandra IPS biopic. For people who don’t know who Umesh Chandra is, he was a former IPS officer and one of the most reputed police officers in the history of united Andhra Pradesh. He is called as the ‘Kadapa Tiger’ by the police department and was loved by the people where ever he worked.

Umesh Chandra, who was serving as Kadapa District SP, was shot dead by Naxalites on SR Nagar Road, Hyderabad on September 4, 1999. That is the worst thing that has ever happened to a police officer. The following year, Umesh Chandra’s idol was erected where he was murdered. We can see the statue even now.

The reports revealed that Sonu Sood has already agreed to star in the film as the script is already ready. An official announcement regarding the film is coming soon.
