Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has landed in legal trouble for a cheque bounce fraud case. The petition filed in Patel’s case was heard in the Jharkhand High Court. The Jharkhand HC Judge Anand Sen heard the petition through video conference from his residence.
After listening to both the parties in the alleged cheque bounce fraud case, the court ordered both parties to have a recorded response ready in two weeks, looking at the seriousness of the case.
As per the reports, in the year 2017, the actress met Ajay Kumar Singh, the petitioner at an event and encouraged him to invest in a film made by her production house.
After which, he transferred Rs 2.5 crore to the actress’ account, but later she refused to do the film and even failed to return the money.
