BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has taken the issue of false stories projected against the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and a newspaper that is pro-TDP.
Weeks after the responsibility of auditing reports of TTD was transferred to Comptroller and Auditor General of India from the Andhra Pradesh audit department, the BJP MP gave a shock to Chandrababu Naidu.
Subramanian Swamy who visited the temple city on Wednesday opined that false news about TTD is being spread and a defamation case against a Newspaper has been filed for Rs 100 crore. The MP spoke to the media after filing the defamation case.
The Rajya Sabah member said he will knock on the doors of the court against the comments made by Chandrababu Naidu on Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He alleged that Chandrababu and his favorable media are spreading fake news against the temple. Irregularities that took place during TDP’s regime should be exposed, he said
Reminding how the famous Nataraja Swamy temple was taken out of the control of the Tamil Nadu government, Subramanian Swamy said TTD will also be taken out from the control of the government.
Adding further, the MP said he and his associate are on admission to free Hindu temples from the government’s administration across the nation. He hoped that his mission will be fulfilled soon.
