Nagarjuna‘s upcoming action-drama “Wild Dog“, which is based on a real-life incident, is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 2. The film is set on a series of bomb blasts that happened in India, including the Gokul Chat bomb blast in Hyderabad.
As a part of movie promotions, the veteran actor has revealed that he went to Gokul chat after two days of the blast to see what happened there. He said that he still remembers that day. Nag used to go to Gokul Chat to eat Panipuri and feels the place is quite close to the actor.
“When Solomon narrated me the story, I could recall all the visuals. We recreated the bomb blast incidents,” Nag said.
Nagarjuna will be playing the role of an encounter specialist and an NIA officer, Vijay Varma, in the movie. The film directed by Ahishor Solomon and produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy under Matinee Entertainment.
Besides Nagarjuna, the film also stars Dia Mirza, Saiyami Kher and Atul Kulkarni. Wild Dog marks the first-time collaboration between the director and Nagarjuna.
