Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan has lost his cool during the roadshow as a part of his election campaign for the upcoming assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.
Frustrated over his microphone not working during the roadshow, the veteran actor was seen throwing down a torchlight that he had been holding in his hand during the campaign. Interestingly, the torchlight is Kamal’s party symbol for the elections.
A video of Haasan throwing the torchlight has been doing the rounds on social media. Netizens are trolling and saying, “Kamal, don’t be so angry.”
Apparently, this is the first time that Kamal Haasan has been contesting in electoral polls. He will be contesting from Coimbatore South, while his Makkal Needhi Maiam party will face the established national parties of BJP and Congress.
The polls for Tamil Nadu Assembly will be held to elect 234 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The election is scheduled to be held on April 6, 2021.
