After a successful ‘Drushyam’ which released back in 2014, Venkatesh has recently wrapped up the shooting for its second part. The Malayalam version was released on OTT and became a huge hit. Director Jeethu Joseph who made the original took care of the Telugu version too.
The village in which Venkatesh and family live plays a huge role in the film. Recently, a video showcasing the set erected in Idukki of Kerala for ‘Drushyam 2’ has been presented to the audience. The village is named Rajavaram and we can see the police station, bus stand, general store, houses and many more. They are built in a very realistic manner and all the credit goes to Rajeev Nayar who designed these wonderful sets.
The entire shooting was completed in 47 days which is a huge feat and the audience who have watched the Malayalam version are also waiting for the Telugu remake. The film consists of actors like Venkatesh, Nadiya, Meena, Naresh and many others.
