Television actor Lakshmi Narasimha Reddy, the husband of anchor Shyamala, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of cheating a woman to the tune of Rs 85 lakh.
After getting out on bail, Narasimha Reddy said that a false case has been filed against him. He released a video thanking all those who have stood by him and his family, even in such difficult circumstances. Shyamala shared the video on her Instagram handle.
“Thanks to all those who stood by me, despite the many fraudulent allegations against me. By the grace of God, I returned home. I will come to you in a few more days to share with you all the facts related to the articles coming about me on social media for the last two days. What is the case? What is the truth of it? I will meet you with all kinds of evidence in this case. I have full faith in justice and the court,” said Mr Reddy.
As per reports, Sindhura Reddy of Khajaguda filed a case against him alleging that Narasimha Reddy had taken Rs 85 lakh in cash from her in August 2017, proposing to invest in the development of a four-acre plot of land worth Rs 100 crore in Gandipet, including a swimming pool, pub and game zone.
