It is known that Telangana Minister Etela Rajender was stripped of his portfolio over land grabbing allegations, and the government is investigating the allegations of land grabbing by Rajender.
Now Etela Rajender family approached Telangana High Court after the officials surveyed their lands recently. Etala’s wife and son filed a petition in the HC alleging that their lands were surveyed illegally.
The petitioners demanded that the DGP, vigilance and Medak Collector be ordered not to interfere in their lands and not to take coercive measures.
On Monday, the state government appointed a three-member panel led by Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Commissioner M Raghunandan Rao. This panel will inquire into the allegations of land grabbing by Etela.
The farmers alleged that the former minister illegally invaded the assigned land and threatened the villagers. They alleged that some sheds and large poultry industry were set up without permission on those lands.
