As a hammer blow to the controversy’s adopted child, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, the Microblogging site Twitter has suspended the actor’s account permanently for repeatedly violating the Twitter policies.
After Kangana made objectionable tweets on the alleged violence in West Bengal that had called for action against her, Twitter India swung into action and suspended her account permanently.
Rubbing salt into the wounds, Kangana Ranaut raised the alleged race bias angle into the controversy. Seeing the issue from the lens of racism by Americans, Kangana said Twitter suspended her account proves the same point.
She went on to say that, it doesn’t affect her much as she has many platforms to raise her voice and called cinema as her own art form.
“Twitter has only proved my point they’re Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice, including my own art in the form of cinema,” the Queen actress said in the video shared on Instagram.
Talking about the tweets on West Bengal violence, Kangana Ranaut said there is nothing wrong with her tweeting over the issue and called the action against the violence an important message for our government.
On the flip side, a few Bollywood actors are supporting the move to suspend Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account calling it a big relief. Now they want the suspension of her Instagram account too.
