Ever since former Minister Etela Rajender differed with the ruling TRS party, opposition parties in Telangana are evincing interest to invite him to their parties.
The speculations are also rife that Etela will launch his own party, despite joining the existing parties in the state. With some Congress party leaders already discussing with him, the latest is that BJP national leader reached Hyderabad to hold talks once again with the TRS leader. Now, this development has become a hot topic in state politics.
BJP national leader Bhupender Yadav held talks with Etela Rajender lately. According to reliable sources, several key issues were discussed in the meeting which lasted about two hours. Along with Etela, BJP state leaders had also taken part in this meeting that is held at a farmhouse.
The meeting was attended by Bhupender Yadav, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay and Union minister Kishan Reddy. On this occasion, BJP leaders invited Etela to join the party. It is learned that he has also said that he will be given a key post if he joins the party.
It is also heard that Etela is likely to resign as an MLA, as he has no intention of continuing as a TRS MLA. The resignation is meant to bring a by-election to the Huzurabad constituency and win there and challenge the TRS with the people and forces that come together.
