Niranjan Srungavarapu won as President of TANA

Niranjan Srungavarapu has won the TANA (Telugu Association of North America) 2021 elections. Niranjan won by 10,866 votes majority. His opponent Naren Kodali received 9,108 votes. Along with Niranjan, Naren Kodali led the panel from inception. Votes were counted among police reservists in Seattle.

Incumbent President Jayasekhar Thalluri and Anjayya Chaudhary have expressed support for Niranjan Srungavarapu. Opinions are also expressed that his victory was inevitable. Former TANA presidents Jairam Komati and Satish Vemana have expressed support for Naren Kodali.

Niranjan, a native of Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, has been living in Michigan, USA for a long time. The counting of votes was completed this morning. In America, TANA and ATA organize numerous events.
