‘Narappa’ Getting Ready For An OTT Release This Month!

While ‘F3’ still has a lot of time get released, the entire focus is on ‘Narappa’ which was supposed to hit the screens this summer. The makers planned to release the film on May 13th but it got postponed due to the lockdown. The shooting was been completed and the makers have the final output ready. Reports suggest that they are satisfied with the content and they are hoping that the audience will like it too despite the obvious comparisons to its original. Venkatesh will be seen as a village man and his look has impressed the audience. Though the official confirmation hasn’t been out yet, the makers have reportedly opted for an OTT release. Apparently, Amazon Prime Video has bagged the streaming rights for this rural drama. Grapevine suggests that ‘Narappa’ will be out on Amazon Prime in the third week of July.

On the other hand, the trailer is expected to come out a week before its release and people are excited to find out about this film. Dhanush received a national award for the original film and movie lovers are curious to find out how Venkatesh is going to be pull off such a role in ‘Narappa’. Let us wait to find out.

‘Narappa’ is directed by Sreekanth Addala and produced jointly by D Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu. Mani Sharma is composing the music while talented actress Priyamani will be seen as the wife of Venkatesh in this film.
