TRS firebrand leader and Telangana finance minister Harish Rao said the children of YS Rajasekhar Reddy – YS Jagan and YS Sharmila don’t have a place in the hearts of Telangana people.
“Rajasekhar Reddy used to firmly oppose the Telangana movement and often belittle the efforts of Telangana natives who fought for statehood. Why will his kids have a place in the hearts of Telangana people? They won’t,” he said.
Harish Rao went on to say that Sharmila claims she is close to Telangana people, but in reality, she is the daughter of a politician who was against the formation of Telangana state.
“YSR used to say he will see to it that Telangana state is not formed as long he is alive. Now, his daughter Sharmila is launching a party and asking Telangana people for votes. Does it make any sense? In fact, Rajasekhar Reddy is the reason why Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are fighting over Krishna water,” he said.
We should wait and see how Sharmila will react to these hard hitting comments from Harish Rao.
