Chinmayi speaks about the harassment of lady teachers

Singer and voice artiste Chinmayi Sripada has been quite vocal about the abuse of all kinds on women for quite some time. She has steered the #MeToo movement and has shut trolls frequently.

Chinmayi regularly addresses social media about rapes and atrocities against women. As the latest, she mentioned about the sexual harassment faced by lady teachers in educational institutions.

The singer shared a few screenshots of her inbox messages where some lady teachers shared the horrible experiences which they faced in their professional life. In her tweets, we can find that woman teachers had encountered unimaginable behaviour even from sixth and eighth class students. She said that it was unfortunate that school children and their fathers were having similar thoughts.

“We were discussing the harassment lady teachers were facing from their students (sending p*nis photos) / from the students fathers in this era of online classes and this scholar from Loyola College happened to share this,” she wrote in one of her tweets.

In colleges, she also tweeted that sexual harassment was taking place at research sites. Now, these tweets of the singer have become a topic of discussion on social media. Many are responding to Chinmayi’s tweets.
