Has Amarraja closure forced Galla Jay to go silent?

There are murmurs in the TDP over the sudden silence of a very vocal MP – Galla Jayadev. Galla, who represents Guntur Lok Sabha seat in Parliment, is unusually silent these days. He is not seen anywhere publicly. He has not attended any programme in recent times. He has neither issued a press statement nor has addressed a press conference in recent times.

The political observers say that the recent attacks on his business interests by the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government have shoked Galla Jayadev. The government closed down the unit of Amarraja Batteries in Chittoor district claiming that it was polluting the nearby areas. The government showed no inclination of reconciliation. Sources say that Galla has gone silent in view of these attacks as he wants to protect his business and entrepreneurial interests.

Sources say that Galla wants to lie low for some time. Thus, he has suddenly become silent. Sources say that he is also worried about his other units and want to save them. Thus he has become inactive. Sources also say that he has lost interest in Guntur politics. They say that he would very much like to become an MLA from his home constituency of Chandragiri. In fact, his mother had represented Nagari for many terms. Jay Galla wants to move to state politics.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu too has stopped talking about Galla Jayadev. He is neither slamming him nor backing him. What is the reason for Chandrababu’s silence about Galla Jayadev? Well, time alone will tell. As of now, we can only wait and watch.
