Allu Arjun is going to the major cities across South Indian in the past few days and promoting his pan-Indian project very aggressively. While the Telugu media and Tamil media were satisfied with reception, the Kannada press was a bit unhappy with the way things were handled. A reporter expressed displeasure and questioned Bunny about the unnecessary delay which happened.
The journalist said, “Your team informed that the press meet is scheduled at 11:15, and you have come at 1:15, is it fair? And when anchor Suma spoke only in Telugu at Pushpa event in Hyderabad, how come this anchor (unknown girl) is speaking only in English here with Kannada media?†Allu Arjun was unable to understand at the beginning and when Rashmika explained it to him, he replied, “Due to fog, my private jet hasn’t taken off at the right time and I don’t know that you’re invited so early for the event. I’m really sorry about this, and I don’t feel wrong or bad to utter an apology.” The journalist then said, “Sir I’m expecting only concern, but not your sorry.”
Despite this, Allu Arjun went on to say, “But I will say sorry and tender my apology because we have come late and you were kept in the waiting. Saying sorry won’t make you down, it will make you grow up as a person.” Also, another media person asked why Rashmika did not dub in Kannada despite being a Kannadiga herself. The team replied, “Pushpa is a fictional creation and has nothing to do with any real incidents. Rashmika hasn’t got time to dub in Kannada as we have shot for the film until Dec 8th, and she has to wrap her Telugu dubbing first.”
Allu Arjun even spoke about him not attending Puneeth Rajkumar’s funeral. He said that he was deeply affected by his dear friend’s death but he could not attend the funeral due to the busy work of ‘Pushpa’. He added that he won’t be visiting his family now and people may think that he is using this for his film promotions. Seems like Allu Arjun had quite a day in Bengaluru.
