Bubbly actress Raashi Khanna who stole the hearts of youth with her debut film ‘Oohalu Gusa Gusalade’ and became a successful heroine in Tollywood with hits like ‘Supreme’, ‘Jai Lava Kusa’, ‘Prathu Roju Pandage’, ‘Tholi Prema’ and many others is trying to become busy in Bollywood again. Prior to her good run in South India, the Northern girl tried her luck in Bollywood. She made her acting debut with ‘Madras Cafe’ which was released in 2013. It was her only Hindi film and the ‘Hyper’ actress is all set to test her luck again.
While working in a few Telugu films like ‘Pakka Commercial’ and ‘Thank You’, Raashi Khanna bagged a few interesting offers from Bollywood. She is playing key roles in Ajay Devgn’s web-series which will be coming out in Disney Hotstar and also in Shahid Kapoor action series that is being made by Raj & DK. This series has Vijay Sethupathi playing a negative role and it is expected to be streamed on Netflix.
Now, Raashi is excited about her big Bollywood project under the prestigious ‘Dharma Productions’ banner. She took to social media and announced, “I am extremely honoured & excited to announce that I will be joining team #Yodha along with the gorgeous Disha Patani!.” The film is titled ‘Yodha’ it stars Siddharth Malhotra as the lead while Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna are the heroines. It will be hitting the screens on 11th November 2022 which is almost a year away.
Welcoming both their leading ladies onboard, Dharma Productions wrote, “The phenomenal and exceptionally talented female leads of #Yodha are here! Welcoming the fierce, gorgeous and ever charming Disha Patani to the family. Along with Raashii Khanna, who brings her spark and innocence to the role like no other! Yodha hits theatres near you on 11th November, 2022.”
Hero Siddharth Malhotra too tweeted about this aerial actioner and welcomed both the heroines. Siddharth will be seen as a fierce soldier whose aim is to save the nation. A few stills and video clips from the first day shooting too came out a while ago. ‘Yodha’ will be handled by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
